It all started with a thought about how i could take the horizon motif one step further.
I had an idea about making it more abstract, painting several big fish in a otherwise huge sea. The next thing that came to me was the thought of giving the painting a christian framing, using mosaic shapes and formes. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ichthys
There is alot going on in the painting, the classing horizon with the distant town or skyline, abstract fish and abstract shapes, mainly triangles all combined with powerful colours. The painting is 70*140, so rather big.
